A sample of college students' physical activity was observed to see if it correlates with stress or academia. The results state that stress reduction does not automatically mean better academic achievement, however, this study does provide that physical activity correlates with stress reduction. Meyer states in his conclusion fo the experiment, "Results of this study found a strong association between engagement in PA and the positive impact it has to reduce the stress influence on academic performance." Overall, a reduction in stress still benefits the wellness within a college student.
